About Us

Baby Cat Academy was formally established in 2020 by a veterinarian with a weak spot for baby felines. Kittens found outside are often brought into veterinary clinics as orphans or with injuries. With no permanent home and no owner to take responsibility for their care, these vulnerable babies are under threat of euthanasia unless someone steps up and cares for them.

Baby Cat Academy evolved from a single foster home. We are now a network of foster homes in southeast Michigan. We remain a small, but dedicated, group of individuals with the intention of helping these neonatal, injured, and sick kittens become healthy enough to find their forever families.

Ultimately, our goal is to help prevent pet overpopulation, especially that within community cat populations, by supporting spay/neuter and trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts.
